Fuji 7 is a new (Glass Ionomer) surface protector from
a company called GC.
It has been specifically designed for minimum intervention
dentistry and for use in fissure sealing.

Its main properties are:
- It releases very high levels of Fluoride
- It adheres to the tooth surface
- It allows Calcium and Phosphate to permeate
through allowing re-mineralisation
- It is pink in colour, so it is visible for
placement and inspection
- It does not contain resin that allowed other
seals to leak
